LabGenetics is the first center in Madrid Region which Genetic Unit has obtained definitive health authorization for opening and operarting by the Dirección General de Calidad, Acreditación, Evaluación e Inspección de la CONSEJERÍA DE SANIDAD Y CONSUMO (Sanitary License nº. CS6993).
All services offered by LabGenetics have a maximum quality guarantee because it satisfies all technical and methodological needs in order to obtain the accreditation of the laboratory according to the standard UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025, for the Forensic Genetics test, and according to the standard ISO 15189, of particular requirement for quality and competition between clinic laboratories.
LabGenetics, and all its professionals, are members of the International Society for Forensic Genetics(ISFG), of the Spanish and Portuguese Working Group of the ISFG (GEP-ISFG) and the Spanish Association of Prenatal Diagnostic(AEDP), participating actively in quality controls organized by GEP-ISFG and by the European Molecular Genetics Quality Network(EMQN).
LabGenetics uses all of its analyses, procedures and adapted protocols following the recommendations of ISFG, EMQN, EDNAP (European DNA Profiling group), ENFSI (European Network of Forensic Science Institutes) and the UK Clinical Molecular Genetics Society.
